Double Duty

Hard-working hammock offers relaxing support to the gardener and shade to his assistant. Everyone should have a double-duty Yucatecan hammock. That and fresh, sweet tomatoes fresh off the vine, potato salad with yogurt, radish and cress, and the master's beet salad. Mmmm. Say, what is it about red in photos? All buzzy and fuzzy? Can't get a decent pic of a pomegranate flower. I'm noticing a mental flinch when I set my sights on red objects. What's the deal?

Fresh!

Our first delivery - from farm to our doorstep. Organic, baby. You can't see the cherries and you probably won't (they'll be gone soon... sooooo good).

All Sorts of Excitement

Doggy donut (note the drool), neighborhood fire (all shots courtesy of GAB), manual focus on parsley seeds better than auto focus (fluke or revelation?), new winning recipe (might look beige but it's so yummy - spaghetti with eggplant).

Counting My Lucky Stars

How did I get two crazy, wonderful, unique humans as my dad and father? Let me tell you, my paternal world is rich with love, encouragement, support and inspiration. Not rote inspiration, mind you. No, we're talking mold-breaking, routine-busting trailblazing of an otherworldly sort here. For someone like me, with boundless curiosity and disdain for social restrictions, I couldn't be gifted any better than this.

No regular neckties will do for these two.

Thank you gentlemen, for everything -- I love you.

Camouflage

Bet y'all missed this little guy in the previous post. Wish I had a killer macro lens... one day... then I'll really get all buggy on you.
