Precious Pool Time

Behold the finest blue plastic pool this side of Ballona Creek. Right in our own backyard, that's right. Hmmm, I sense a massive wave of envy from my millions of readers. Relax, relax. You're all welcome to sunbathe poolside and partake in a splash session. Only drawback is capacity: Lucy + 2. So get in line. And remember, some guests insist on going solo.

BEAST!

I'm talking about the human who put a felt bonnet on this poor dog and has the gumption to wear navy socks with black flip flops... all while hanging out at and handling a public phone, next to a ripe garbage can. Anyhoo, forget about the beast, check out these cool critters: California long-horned beetle, wild turkey, juvenile black-crowned night heron, adult black-crowned night heron, and a way cooler dog than Sir Felt Bonnet. Not great pics but all spotted in one lovely day.

I Don't Know

Today started with a tiara'd lady in white but quickly turned into big time RedWhite&Blue. I think it's the Fourth of July.
