On the patio table! It's one of our girls showing the results of a common mite-testing technique. You put a bunch of bees in a container with powdered sugar and jostle them a bit. Any mites will drop in the container while the bees get a nice sugar coating. Not harmful.

Wow! I need some powdered sugar. I thought you had really found a rare bee. Great picture.
